This is a very sweet song. One of the sweetest actually. Even after so many years...this song feels new. It talks about a girl who wants to meet her lover badly. She is in fact, is actually debating the pros and cons of having a lover. She says that they might fight or they might love each other, but she knows it in her heart that what she feels is true and she doesn't want to feel any way else.
Samshad Begum's voice is very sweet. According to me, it is one the Golden Songs in Indian Cinema.
